IRC
Forsaken Mu has an IRC server. IRC is a chatroom environment that allows you to chat to other participants. Please behave when you use the chat server and refrain from spamming.
There are 2 ways to access the chat server
Through the website
You can simply go to http://chat.forsaken-mu.com/ and it will load a java-applet. In order for this to work you must have the JRE (Jave runtime environment) installed. You can download this software by going to java's website.. Once installed, you can go to the previously mentioned website and participate in the chat room. Upon loading the java applet you may be prompted with a security warning asking you if you wan't to stop loading certain parts of the applet. Please select No in this prompt.
Through an IRC client
You can connect to the chat server through your own IRC client. There are many different kinds of IRC clients. A free example is mIRC.
